HOW IT ALL STARTED

A random night.
A new beginning.

Have you ever had that feeling where something just doesn’t feel right, and you think: someone should change this… or nothing will ever change? That was the beginning of our community.

It started casually a few drinks, the dance floor, and a simple conversation that turned into: “Don’t you think there aren’t enough nice plans for girls on the island?” From there, it somehow ended with a vision board meeting.

It reminded us that sometimes the most meaningful things come from the simplest conversations.

That’s what Pastizzi Club is about.

We want to share experiences that bring people together, to meet new faces, try new things, and do things you might normally feel a bit nervous to do alone.

Because one of the best feelings in life is belonging. Being able to show up as yourself, without judgment, and just enjoy the moment.

Pastizzi Club is that space where you come as you are, and leave with good memories, good people, and a little more happiness than when you arrived.

Hannah

Marketing & Community Manager

Hey! I'm Hannah, half German, half Bosnian. Four years ago I moved to Malta with no idea how to find queer friends here and it often felt like there were barely any spaces for us.

More about Hannah

Before moving to Malta I lived three years in Berlin, and coming from a big city life that became a bit too hectic for me, I love everything about Malta's laid-back lifestyle: sunset swims, coffee talks with my girls, and living my little island life.

Outside of Pastizzi Club I'm into yoga, spirituality, tarot, mindful living, and solo travel. I love expressing myself creatively, which is exactly why I love bringing new ideas to Pastizzi Club and giving something back to the queer wlw community in Malta.

Hey, I’m Val. I’m happily married to my dream woman and have been living in Malta for four years, which I now truly call home. Living by the sea feels like a privilege every day.

I work in the corporate world from 9 to 5, and the rest of the time I’m all about travel, good food, and techno.

I’ve always wanted to create spaces where women can be themselves, feel free, and enjoy life without judgment.

That’s why Pastizzi Club exists, because when women come together, we’re powerful.
